Just about only the last few items to finish off on Friday morning. However the major problem with packing early is remembering what you packed, and where, so its easy to check when you're uncertain. :?

Sounds like a senior moment Towny!

Enjoy your trip and look on the bright side, you'll soon be back on Britannia so you've got something to look forward to.

Fifteen months till Britannia Merv, but I will be road testing your Ventura 2017 cruise next January, unfortunately before they get their 32" TV sets.

Just take your binoculars for viewing! I'll be interested to hear how that one goes but keep quiet if it's awful!

Since I spend very little time watching the TV in the cabin, an increase in screen size is not on my list of priorities for a ship. Quite honestly, the presence of a decent promenade deck wold be a bigger factor in my choice of ship.

I don't think there's any plan to enlarge those. Sorry.

Why not? A bit of scaffolding round the side to support a few planks and maybe a length of rope for a handrail, shouldn't take much effort to install? :sarcasm:

Is a decent Prom deck one without topless bathing, or one without doddering old folk snoring in their chairs and stretching their legs out for the power walkers to trip over?

Sorry, Just stopped laughing at that one QB
Merv is the last person I would ask for an unbiased opinion on any other cruise line, (No Offence Merv) we all know he gets back handers from PandO to wax lyrical about how wonderful they are and how they are the only cruise line worth considering

But I notice that Calamity 's PR spokesman has a couple more P&O cruises booked. I think he's ready to come out.

I try not to do bigoted and biased Batty in case I upset some sensitive soul, although finding a sensitive soul on here is a bit like finding hen's teeth.

I'm confident Shiney's report will be glowing. Most ships have good and bad points and Calamity Collapse is no exception. Our gripe was over p*ss poor service interspersed with repetitive self congratulation. Hopefully they'll manage to keep it together for the duration of a ship tour.
