Gentlemen, I am quite sure they will be on their very best behaviour on the day, but will that be truly representative of how things are during a cruise? It will, I'm afraid, be a good couple of years before we'll be able to find out.

The main thing Shiney is if you like the look of the ship you can consider giving it a try in due course. If you don't like the ship you can forget it and haven't wasted a couple of weeks and four grand finding out. If you do go you can make your own mind up. All joking apart, but don't telly Towny or Batty, our experience on Cslamity can't be typical or they'd be out of business by now, but since there are other lines we do like who've not let us down we have no reason to give them a second chance

That's where thee and me differ, sir. We always go for the cheapest inside we can get, partly 'cos I'm a cheapskate and partly the savings can be better used elsewhere. We MAY think about a balcony if and when we do our dreamed-of worldie (although that does somewhat contradict what I've just said :sarcasm:).

Be thankful you aren't going on your own…. it can cost the best part of 4k just for an outside cabin…..

Finally I am in the lead…

Evening all, Internet access is available even in the wilds of North Wales, where I have been since last Friday night. Thoroughly enjoyable, but not exactly what you would call sofistikated. But then you get what you pay for: - To give you an idea, CPS charge more per night to park your car at Southampton.

No, here. http://www.ffestiniograilway.org.uk/acc ... rdd-hostel

I came down last Friday for this: http://www.dailypost.co.uk/news/north-w ... th-8368857 (ignore the caption about the 'Toy Train in 1954. The date is 1934 - and the train is going AWAY from Blaenau. Trust the hacks to get it wrong!

What have I been doing since then? - working on this: http://www.ffestiniograilway.org.uk/new ... nstruction
