No I think that's the Ferret Botherer. He's usually around 97th place in this game.

I should have been more careful this morning. Strimmed the lawn and cut my throat.
(No I wasn't that careless. A little bit of the strimmer cord broke off and flew through the air and nicked me. That's the last time I'm cutting the grass without a suit of armour)

No, they are probably all in intensive care following injuries from poorly-maintained equipment !

The butler won't lower himself to gardening, the chauffeur was polishing the Bentley, the cook was preparing dinner and the maid was polishing the knick knacks.
Oh and yes I did hear something about the gardener needing surgery to re-attach his arms. Must check and see if he's back next week.

If the butler's arthritis prevents him from lowering himself down to maintain the borders, you can get extension poles for the hand tools. Don't forget to dock the cost from his pay, though.

I'm certainly going to dock the gardener's. Minor slip with the Flymo and you've never heard such a fuss.

Good grief it looks as though standards have dropped through the floor in my absence, well I'm back so let's have a little bit of sofistickation.

Too much sofistickation might be too difficult for P&O diehards, like Merv, to cope with.Silver_Shiney wrote:only a little bit?

Morning all
we cancelled our Celebrity cruise, yesterday and re-booked an almost identical cruise with Cruise and Maritime, for £2000 less
more ports of call, less sea days and drinks and tips sorted as well, only downside is no balcony, but we did get a cabin upgrade to a deluxe one, so not a worry, we are now going from Newcastle, instead of having to schlep all the way to Soton, which is nice

Nice one, DK! I hope the seas are kind to you, we found the Discovery couldn't handle a mild swell well at all.

Since Batty and Lady Dsrk are without doubt a couple of swells that could prove tricky!Silver_Shiney wrote:Nice one, DK! I hope the seas are kind to you, we found the Discovery couldn't handle a mild swell well at all.
