I was at Imperial College in 1971 when decimal currency came in. Fortunately they didn't change the name. But we made a killing buying groceries at the corner shop because the Irish owner, Clancy, couldn't cope with the new money at all and kept guessing the prices!

I see myself more in the role of mentor and guide, to the more mentally challenged amongst you, rather than a fully paid up eejit

we are fine and dandy Alan, just starting to get into holiday mode as we fly out to pick up our bucket and spade ship in 3 weeks time

this cruise ticks of a lot of "must see's 2 for us
Athens
Dubrovnik
Ephesus
Venice
and we enjoy a wander around Corfu town as well, so very much looking forward to this, also a lot of the stops are easily wanderable, which we enjoy
