I must say I am constantly surprised at some of the issues that stir your ire DK, I would have expected that you, like me, had a tiny anarchic streak that would rail against meaningless and futile rules like these, just saying.

There is, in reality very little that riles me up about cruising, however there is an AWFUL LOT , that riles up members of this here forum, which is a completely different bucket of fish
All I need do is mention, smoking, tattoos, children on board, dress codes, jumping the boarding Q, etc and take a slightly contrary stance and all hell will break loose, I play the part of an inverted snob to perfection and I always get biters
