Boss, what's the pixel size of your picture, please? I'm not getting any size warning, but I can't upload anything

I don't normally check the image size before posting Alan. It's hit and miss if the image is too big or not. If it's too big I simply adjust it.
However, I just checked the pixel size of the one I just posted and according to Paint Shop Pro image information it is 799 x 535 pixels.

Hmm, that's considerably bigger than the ones I'm trying to upload to the forum. Thanks for the info!

Alan, If you right click on any image and go to Properties it will give you the image pixel size.Hmm, that's considerably bigger than the ones I'm trying to upload to the forum. Thanks for the info!

That's bigger than the size I had to reduce mine to before they would load.
However, size isn't everything. Perhaps mine's better quality than your Stephen?

That must be it Merv
My last image, as is, is 400 x 268 pixels. It's not until you click on and expand it that is goes to 799 x 535 pixels. Don't ask me how that works when uploading, it just does/did. All I can think of is it's a compressed file.

Perhaps you've been barred by the Modplods but they've not told you. What, exactly, was the last picture you did upload.....Silver_Shiney wrote:I don't understand it, Stephen, I've been using this one to upload piccies to the forum without any problems until a couple of weeks ago....

I don't remember, Merv, but it was embedded in an entry to a thread. I was going to point you to the last images I uploaded to the gallery, but the whole gallery seems to have disappeared.

Good Morning Alan
Can you think of anything that you have changed on your PC recently that may have altered a setting somewhere. A bit of a long shot, but try reinstalling your browser and check the security levels, or even try a different browser. Also check you are running the latest Adobe Flash Player.

Ah - you could be on to something there, Stephen - since the last successful upload, I changed from Firefox to Chrome (Firefox was causing all sorts of problems). I'll hang fire for a couple of weeks as I've got a "new" computer to commission with Win 10 when we've finished converting a spare room into a home office.

Does Open Office still have "proper" menu toolbars or have they gone the MS route with those ridiculous "ribbons"?Manoverboard wrote:.... and ' Open Office 'Mervyn and Trish wrote:I understand from the accompanying bumph that it is Windows 10.Manoverboard wrote:Knock it off Merv, I was going to bid on that auction
