As a Home Page ...

Display the Google Page - https://www.google.co.uk/ - and then select ' Add or Change Home Page ' via the drop down box next to the Home Icon. Make it the Home page ... et voila ?

ps .... " Does Open Office still have "proper" menu toolbars " = mine does

Yeh - it worked! Just hope pesky Yahoo does not reappear!

Modplods don't come out in the wet.

I've just driven thirty miles on the motorway in slatting rain and spray with very poor visibility and was gobsmacked by the number of vehicles without lights. Insane. Where are the real plods when you need them? Perhaps they don't go out in the rain either.

I think he means the cars without lights. Not the modplods. And without lights in the murk those colours really are hard to see.

Ok - thanks for the explanations merv. I love to annoy the idiots who don't put their lights on by flashing them (with my headlights before anyone gets the wrong idea) or even waving. Even if they still leave their lights off, they think there is a speed trap and slow down.

As that splendid fellow says, I was referring to the cars - but I did highlight "number of vehicles without lights" in my post by using the "bold" function....
