Modplods don't come out in the wet.

I've just driven thirty miles on the motorway in slatting rain and spray with very poor visibility and was gobsmacked by the number of vehicles without lights. Insane. Where are the real plods when you need them? Perhaps they don't go out in the rain either.

They're usually silver/grey.... just to make it interesting, of course

I know I have had a cr*p day at work and followed a bl**dy tractor all the way home but Shiney please explain your post cos I don't get it!

As that splendid fellow says, I was referring to the cars - but I did highlight "number of vehicles without lights" in my post by using the "bold" function....

Not good enough for us thickos, especially on a Friday. The reason they are normally silver/grey is because that's all people buy nowadays.
Replaced my last silver car with a red one as got fed up with looking for it in the car park - now have a black one.

Off to specsavers for 2nd week running to pick up replacement pair of normal glasses, last week they had made both up as prescription sunglasses. I refrained from suggesting that the person making up the glasses "should have gone to Specsavers".

it is only 4 more working days , if you include toady, before we are off to warmer climes and jollying off around Greece and the Adriatic
been looking forward to Ephesus, Athens, Dubrovnik and Venice for a while now and 4 more to cross of the list
the weather is on average a toasty 30 degrees and set fair for the coming fortnight, so all is good with the world

Nope Shiney they just removed the "erroneous" sunglasses lenses and replaced them with standard lenses; anyway not much point having 2 pairs of sunglasses to the same prescription, I hardly get enough sunny days to wear out one pair, never mind two.
