Some of the peeps on here aren't in the country long enough to hold down a job. When politicians talk about non-doms I'm sure it's Blod and Towny they're talking about

Hey Merv I'm not going away again until Christmas - I've only been on three cruises this year and I'm sacrificing one in between to have my tooth replaced - I might start up a Blod implant fund to pay for it - any contributions gratefully received from you working folk

Well I suppose this is supposed to be a period of austerity!
I'd ask Batty to subsidise the tooth. He's getting such bargains on his cruises these days he can afford to splash out.

Perhaps you could get a sponsor for the tooth and have their name engraved on it - better be a short name though

Evening gummy ones - reminds me of when OH needed an emergency extraction - they sent him to a private practice. Said tooth was extracted then the dentist did his usual reccy of the teeth saying what future treatment would be needed - we said send the quote in the post - which was £7,000! Needless to say he never returned !

Great minds think alike Tinker, I have ordered a truck load of seasoned ash from my regular supplier, mind you I'm looking forward to a free year next year as they trimmed a large oak up the road last autumn and I helped the chaps dispose of the logs (tong in cheekThe Tinker wrote:Afternoon strange ones - you know who you are!!

Seasoned log order already in from our regular supplier. Will be arranging a delivery date for the end of the month. You can't beat an open fire
