Up bright and early at the moment with the new puppy Cubie. But even at normal times there's a school nearby and we hear the children in the playground at about 8.30 even if we're still in bed. It's our term time alarm clock.

How nice of you to call the puppy after Cubie

Working from home today - will have to battle for a parking space tomorrow! Keep meaning to take a photo of the now nearly empty car park opposite that the council turned into a 2 hr stay instead of long stay - seems ridiculous as no-one uses it!!

Ah, the bliss of having on-site parking (and a lock-up garage for the bike!)

Yes - we are moving to Downend soon so will have my own parking space there - in theory!

Our cocker spaniel got a hair cut this week ready for her holiday (we're going as well) She will have a great time on the beach and river walks chasing her ball:)

We've had two cockers. The second one, Meg, loved chasing her ball or frisbee. If you chucked anything for the first, Snoopy, he'd stay where he was and stare at it with a disdainful look that said "you threw it away, you go and get it".

Cockerpoo Coco hasn't been out yet so we don't know whether she's a chaser or a watcher!

You're up early, squire - reserving your place at the back of the pack before Towny bags it?

Waste of money - it's getting warmer. Anyways, the bloke what fixes the boiler is a heating engineer, a plumber mends dripping taps
