What is it with people? Our website clearly says that the office is closed over the weekend. Someone used the site's contact form on Friday evening, about 4 hours after we closed, to say they apologise for the short notice but what time would be best for them to come to the museum on Monday morning. I emailed straight back (yes, I know I'm sad checking work emails from home) saying that they couldn't come as we were fully booked.

They turned up this morning - said they'd received my email but decided to come anyway...

They were probably already on the Irish ferry Alan.

The hospital pharmacy at which I used to work opened 9am-midday at weekends. On one occasion a nurse from one of the wards phoned the pharmacist on call (no, it wasn't me) late on a Sunday afternoon to bemoan that "'There's no one in the pharmacy". His response of "I'm relieved to hear it" did not go down very well!
