The last one we watched fairly regularly was ' Crossroads ' but only because it was in colour and we could, at that time, tune into the Anglian Region that transmitted in same, Midlands conversely were still in black n white .... as was Mrs Sharples and chums of course.

ps .... I think Onelife may have played Bennie / Benny

Reminds me of the time Bennie wanted to marry Miss Diane. He called the hotel to book a room for the happy event and they said "Do you want the bridal" to which he replied "No, if she gives any trouble, I'll just hang on to her ears" !!

You've got to feel sorry for Shiney and Merv, they spend a fortune to go on holiday and then get soaked.

Morning all I do feel better today, maybe 'cos its Saturday, although why weekends should feel different for a pensioner I 'll never know.
