Very true, but the sort of books I get I tend to keep, and it is possible to transfer from my device to the Lady C's.

Most of the books I read are factual, reference type books that once bought, stay in my collection; - and I can't imagine many of them every appearing in Kindle format.

On the subject of books - when we moved the first time after being married - I got rid of all my books - fed up with them having to dust etc.

Me too, I just use my Kindle for holidays. Only downside is when I fall asleep - a Kindle hurts more than a paperback when it hits you in the face !!Silver_Shiney wrote:I, too, like the feel of a book but do find having e-books much more convenient.

Not sure what you get up to Merv, but why would you be dangling your kindle over the side ?!

I like the Kindle - you can read anything you like - total rubbish, erotica, trashy romance and no-one knows. When you carry a paperbook around with you - everyone makes a judgement on what you read !!
