It's OK, they've promised to warm some champagne and dry and curl a few extra canapes to order so long as we are there before 3:30

Have you left it too late to get the moggy into the cattery. We always book ours in months in advance and always take him in the day before. And going by past performances of the little bu99er doing a disappearing act we take him in first thing in the morning.

It's not that - we have been let down at the last minute by someone who had promised to take the former stray in so we not have to take him half an hour in the opposite direction to Southampton on Saturday morning (if we can catch him) !

Not quite but certainly nearer to the airport (Manchester) - arrived at son's yesterday - horrendous journey up M5 and M6 but safely here now
