Isn't that off topic? This thread is about winning, not cursing. Where are the Modplods when you need one?

Re: Last One to Post Wins
Night Commodore is now on duty, so while I look after the ship all you finance wizards can be looking for answers to the following.
Why has Sterling weakened so much against the Euro during this current Chinese stock market collapse? I can understand us being weaker than the dollar after the Feds recent interest rate rise, and speculation of more to come, but why have we lost ground to the Euro?
The European central bank is printing money as though it wants to the return to the Weimar republic days, with its current round of quantitive easing looking likely to go on forever.
Does the money market know something we don't, or are they just proving they are all as thick as two short planks?

We will be more than happy to help you celebrate your win on a private charter cruise holiday, but it still won't get you into the lead on LOTP.Manoverboard wrote:I have a financial question ... will you lot be expecting a hand-out if I win the Lottery tonight ?

Well I wasn't the lucky winner
but two people are, the lucky so and so's. Good luck to them
I'm still thinking about putting the bunting out front though with 'WE WON WE WON' all over it just to see how many new friends we suddenly make, and then watch their greedy faces when we say 'JUST KIDDING'

Strange weather this morning, one minute sunshine, next black clouds and torrential rain, glad I only have one more week to suffer before we set sail for the Caribbean.

Well the good news is that means we don't have to suck up to you any more and I lost £8 less than you. Anyway they had to share it. What use is that?Manoverboard wrote:That's a tenner down the drain then, only got two winning numbers out of a total of 30 ...

My view exactly Stephen. If they messed me about like that I'd want my £2 back.
