Anyone else with Sky+ finding that the new automatic programming of TV series you regularly record is a bit hit and miss?
The reason I ask is that several shows return from their midwinter break during our hols and outside the 7 day forward window for manually programming them.
So does anyone know a method of ensuring a Sky box will programme these as they occur.

Note to Shiney, please no wisecracks about better Virgins.
I agree it is not as "automatic" as they say too - I missed a couple of episodes of programmes which restarted while I was away which were in my planner waiting for the new series to start - be interested if anyone knows how you ensure this happens too.
Janis, spoke with Sky and this system is a function within serieslink, but it needs the programme makers to embed the code into the tv series, and not all have it, hence the hit and miss.
It seems the worst offender is Mervs old employer, the Beeb, not surprising really!

Premier Inn free wi-fi means I am still able to keep a beedy eye on you all, so best behave yourself till noon tomorrow. However Lady T is not happy about waiting until 3:30 check in time, she wants to know why it needs to be any different to normal, especially for wheelchair users, so it looks as though we are going to find out how P&O deal with disabled early arrivals, exciting time eh!!!
Tell 'em you know Cubie and his mate Edgers. You'll be one of two places by 1pm

a) Your cabin
b) The brig

It's a worry everytime I step on a P&O ship and see the Costa sign. Gives me a sinking feeling.

Just checked Ventura on my Marine Traffic app. If I zoom right in I can see the ship moored by Mayflower Terminal and Towny sitting on his suitcases outside Ocean.
