You do wonder what the ship was doing there in the first place. In my experience, any P&O captain will either stay in port or make a detour to avoid the worst of a forecasted storm

Quite right too IMO.

Though there will always be sone passengers who claim their life was ruined and demand compo if the itinerary is changed or a port missed, will know better than the Captain on safety and navigation issues and will post their moans on this or another forum. Or go whinging to the media.

As an aside do you know Andrew Sassoli-Walker too? That looks like on the pics he posted on Facecloth this morning.
