Shiney, I cannot vouch for the veracity of the story but it did come from varying sources, a couple were arguing and he tried strangling her, and was then put ashore in Martinique, flown under arrest to Paris then to London, but she stayed on board. Make of that what you will.
DK, it was quite exciting finding a free wi fi hotspot so not boring at all.

My main tip is to ensure you have a port balcony cabin as you have 8 consecutive sea days on the way out. Will think about any others but we did not do any excursions so cannot help in that direction.

We have a starboard balcony cabin, so we'll get our sun tan on the sea days coming back! Never having been to the Caribbean before we're planning some trips but some beaches too.

Personally I think Port is far better on this trip, but the choice is yours.
