The dark Satanic mills have all been shot blasted back to clean stone and turned into luxury apartments, or pulled down after a carefully contrived fire if they had been given grade whatever listing.

Nope most of the wasteland has been turned over to student accommodation, in fact the University now seems to be the biggest employer in Town.
