Re: Last One to Post Wins
You are right, you can't but funnily enough it looks no different if you put some of the previous year's cards on the mantlepiece ... in reality family will always exchange ' cards ' but we deffo exchange cards with folk we love to bits but haven't actually seen for yonks ... in such cases an e-card will do nicely as it is surely the thought that counts.Mervyn and Trish wrote:You can't put an e card on the mantelpiece

Re: Last One to Post Wins
My father had this card that went back and forth between him and a friend. It was marketed as a 'Scottish greetings card". I had a list of occasions like 'Happy Birthday' 'Merry Christmas' etc, and you ticked the appropriate box in pencil and sent it. The recipient would then rub out the tick, mark the right box for its next use, and send it on to the next person - or back to the original sender, as appropriate.
These only fell out of favour once the cost of sending them exceeded the costs of the cards themselves.

Not having bright sunlight first thing suits me, and probably many others driving south, as it can be blinding

Sunglasses are no good when the angle of the sun means the light comes in at the side.towny44 wrote:Spoilsport!
