I find tomatoes taste better when stored at room temperature

Our home grown ones last a good couple of weeks or more and the shop-bought ones seem to be OK for at least a week. How long do you want to store them ?

Any advice on storing whisky? I find once the bottle's open it just seems to evaporate.

I know that feeling Merv. I've started to get into a nasty habit of going from one snifter in the evening to two. I said to Mrs S "I'm having no whisky tonight", we shall see ;)
