Re: So which P&O regular's are missing?
There were quite a few from CN who only ever came on to do their blogs from their cruise and have them tendered over. Some of them have been pretty derisive about the P&O site being down so they may be at a bit of a loose end now CN is down.

CN is apparently being rebuilt after a massive cyber attack (according to the website).
As for lollie we've been trying to convince Meg to go and see her at work but she's having none of it. I'm not sure if anyone has her contact details?

It's great that everyone keeps remembering somebody - sooner or later we will have them all here and that will be great

Re: So which P&O regular's are missing?
Just to make a point - at this moment in time I have no problems with anyone being "invited" to join this forum, whether they be from the old P&O forum or totally new. What has happened in the past is in the past as far as I am concerned and, as others have said, this is a new beginning.
I will, however, be keeping a close eye on what is going on (once I get things sorted and have a bit of time) and the appropriate action, within the rules, will be taken where necessary.
I am contemplating emailing Matt tomorrow to see if he will put a link on the P&O site - after all this site is keeping the P&O Community together which can only be in their interest.

Re: So which P&O regular's are missing?
David my thoughts about Matt putting something on the site about another (i.e this) forum, or even forwarding an email from us highlighting another forum, were that (as daft as it sounds) it could have certain conflicts of interest or even security issues. I.e. don't forget Philip got banned for promoting his forum and, security wise, how do P&O know this forum isn't just a vehicle for putting a Trojan horse into customers PC's?
My thinking was the best we could hope for was to, periodically, one of us ask Matt to forward an email from us to specific people, asking that they contact us at a specific email address so we could explain further. Thus the reason for this thread.
If we can get what you have described then great. I'm just not sure Matt would be able to do it.
Either way probably best I await your instruction before taking any further steps. Ok?

Re: So which P&O regular's are missing?
That is good to know David, as the "friendly cruise forum" is the way go. I don't usually post a lot, unless I need to ask something, but this forum is so good and better than the others I tried (CN, CC and FB) that I am getting addictedSite Administrator wrote:I will, however, be keeping a close eye on what is going on (once I get things sorted and have a bit of time) and the appropriate action, within the rules, will be taken where necessary..
However, as you said some monitoring is necessary and action if required. My son monitors the forum for a very large online betting company and he said it is an absolute necessity. So again, if you need any help (I work daytime) but can help for a couple of hours here and there evenings and weekends. Please do let me know.

Sue V and amanda are both on the FB pages (and MM has a FB account) - so the message will get to them.

Aurorabore ( Elaine ) I have her e-mail address so will contact her, at one time she posted a lot on P&O in fact she was one of the top 10 posters and went to the Azura naming.

I don't have her email address but I wondered if anyone had contacted Margaret C (she used to post on Adonians). I know she's on Cruisedot under another name and was a member of CruiseCruise. Unfortunately I am not able to access either forum to contact her directly.
