Quite right, you know how pictures of a glass of single malt make him thirsty...

I'm trying to lose weight at the moment (the old penguin suit is getting a bit tight and travelling steerage on QM2 shortly and don't want the Grills pax sniggering) so alcohol is off the menu. Along with cheese, bread, chocolate and everything else I like!

Good to know your plumbing now back to normal Stephen.
We are enjoying a little early morning sunshine in God's own county, but it looks like it will be quite chilly today.

Thanks towny.

Not quite fully back to normal, plus I now had additional duties, but we're getting there.

Bu**er, after working satisfactorily now for 2 months since its last hiccup, my printer has gone on the blink again this morning. Same problem as before no black printing, will have to pop out to get a birch branch (a la John Cleese) to see if that works.

Back in the day I had both a Morris 1100 and 1300, after graduating from a Morris minor and then a mini the 1100 seemed very luxurious. ;)

I'd always wanted a Mini and finally got one shortly after we got married. Horrible thing, I only kept it six months.

I'm sure they were made for girls and midgets. I had to use one as a pool car once - even with the seat as far back as it would go, I still had my head between my knees !!

You would not have liked the Suzuki SC-100 then - fantastic little 2+2. It's problem though was it was made of thin steel which rusted quickly
