Re: Last One to Post Wins
It's been a very stressful evening here. The builders don't "do" lino and they wanted it laid for Wednesday. I only had one shot it, so measure thrice, cut once. Now waiting for adhesive to go tacky before final fitting...

Euphemistically called a 're-positioning cruise' - only it's the passengers who get 're-positioned' !!

Thanks, Jan
There's another couple of days work before the new loo can be installed, and then they'll be putting the new vanity unit in.

We had floor to ceiling ceramic tiles all the way round, John, and it proved impossible to keep the grout mould-free. These wall panels will be much easier to keep cleantowny44 wrote:Why not ceramic tiles for the bathroom Shiney?

I was really meaning for the floor.Silver_Shiney wrote:We had floor to ceiling ceramic tiles all the way round, John, and it proved impossible to keep the grout mould-free. These wall panels will be much easier to keep cleantowny44 wrote:Why not ceramic tiles for the bathroom Shiney?
We have all the walls and floor tiled and the shower cubicle, and have had no problems at all with mould even in the shower, however we do wipe the shower cubicle down thoroughly after use, otherwise the grout would go black.

Wall panels are the way forward Alan. Look good, and as you say easier to keep clean. No more grouting.
Fancy looking shower you have there. We went for the Aqualisa power shower with a ceiling head seperate rail hand held head

We've got laminate flooring in the bedroom and that's cold to bare feet - ceramic tiles would be even worse.towny44 wrote:I was really meaning for the floor.Silver_Shiney wrote:We had floor to ceiling ceramic tiles all the way round, John, and it proved impossible to keep the grout mould-free. No matter how well we wiped down the walls, the grou5 and sealant still went black.

Does the Sun now come with nice perforations so you no longer need scissors?

I wouldn't know - I use new toilet paper, not second-hand....
