It's bright with high cloud here today. We had a half hour shower yesterday morning, and some beefy thunderstorms within just to the east of us in the evening, but otherwise it's been fine.

Well, so far we've had a few spots of rain and flypastof the Red Arrows over Lincoln Castle, and I've just heard the unmistakable roar of Merlin engines outside.

Hello
It's been a while since I posted on here (early May) we have been on a cruise to the Canary Islands (A611) a review will follow soon

when we got back our Son came for a visit (bank holiday) it was good to see him.
The following weekend we went on holiday to a cottage in Portessie near Buckie for a week it was lovely. We had lots of walks. The weather was better than while on the cruise! The cottage was a five minute walk to the nearby beach and in the opposite direction (5-10minutes walk) there was a disused railway which is now a pedestrian/cycle path our dog seemed to enjoy herself running a round then sleeping on someones lap in the evening. The cottage was well set up for self catering and there was pubs and restaurants in Buckie we enjoyed it! this retiring lark is so busy at times

Yep, they flew over our house about half hour ago as well Alan. Had to move quick to see them as we were indoors sheltering from the rain, thunder and lightning....which is still going on. I had plans to cut the back grass. Bleedin weather

well this old ship is really starting to go under, as Jan said the only 2 topics worth a post are how to pee standing up and how Frank Manning is right about everything and the rest of the Brexiteers are wrong
