Re: Last One to Post Wins
first harvest of Potatoes last night and very good they were too
QB, what is best to plant next for a quick 12 week turn around ? I was thinking of doing some late spuds to harvest at the end of September or maybe some more sweetcorn ?

french beans or peas
herbs or salad veg
beetroot or swiss chard
sweetcorn
turnips
I personally wouldn't plant any more 'taters as they are so susceptible to all sorts of diseases late in the season - scab, blight, wireworm you name it...!

With all your horticultural knowledge Cubie I am surprised you have not come up with a crop that's highly poisonous to rabbits, as well as being highly desirable.qbman1 wrote:Loads of things you can still plant -Dark Knight wrote:first harvest of Potatoes last night and very good they were too
