The Planet Bar is like the Crow's Nest on Oriana with lots of windows. There's also a screen at the back which shows pictures of amazing places round the world. We prefer the Planet for a pre-dinner drink but during the day we love The Glass House. It's a lovely cool place for a drink after a day ashore and although you pay a supplement for food at lunch-time (approx £5) it's really worth it.

Yes, Darknight, the 'Benares' signature cocktail is very nice, just left Azura today, Sindhu is open as a bar drinks for non-diners each evening. Never seen any canapés in any bars in the evenings, only the glass jars of pretzel type nibbles.

The best bar on Azura or any ship is the one you are in at the time.

We too like the Blue Bar on Azura, because you can over look the Atrium and that is very good for my hobby of "people watching"!!! Yes you do have to time it right to get a good seat, but it is handy for the restaurants but we also like the Planet bar, I believe you can get nibbles in both of these bars.

We're just back from Azura too. The Planet Bar is very pleasant but the only thing we found when meeting up with some people we knew from a previous cruise was that there was a singer and group performing in there - they were very good but not conducive to chatting if all you want is a quiet drink. We did use the Blue Bar on a couple of occasions but as Ken says, it's very small and gets crowded quickly. There really isn't anything to compare with the Champagne Bar on Oceana or Tiffany's. We only ever saw the pretzel type nibbles served with drinks, no canapes.

Yes, Blue bar is great for the people watching, I also like Planet Bar too. I have fond memories of sitting in Planet for our pre dinner drinks on my husbands 59th birthday. we were leaving port and dolphins were following in our wake. It was one of those 'life doesn't get much better than this' moments.

Hi Romig,
Only just seen this post. I agree with the other posts. We have been on Azura 3 times and you can get nibbles in the Planet Bar and also in the Red Bar with the added attraction of people watching. Like you it is one of our pastimes as well!!
