You must have a low threshold if P&O's weak drinks can get you plastered before you're broke.

To be fair, most of them were fine but I did encounter one old bat in a chair. We were going up in a lift, which was pretty full when it stopped at a floor where there was a lady in a chair waiting. Someone in the lift said "sorry" to which the old dear muttered "if you were really sorry, you would all get out" !!

Well that's no fun!

But to be honest we've never really had a lift issue on Oriana or Aurora. We usually, on Aurora, have a cabin on deck 9 so it's only 2 or 3 up or down to most facilities, so we walk.

In fact we only really noticed a problem on Britannia, caused by a mix of a shortage of lifts and poor software which permitted selfish people to hijack and reverse the direction of travel of lifts before they reached people waiting at the top or bottom. A simple re programme would solve a lot of the problems
