Mr pigeon tried to commit suicide this morning. Frightened the life out me as it hit the French doors. Tough old bird though, as Mrs S saw it fly off. Left a nice imprint on the glass.

Just back from a long weekend down in Somerset - pre "big" birthday celebrations with friends - made good use of my National Trust membership
found some great restaurants too.
Off on Friday up north to celebrate with the family - so much food and drink - is it me or do others get to a point where it's all too much and just a quiet night in with feet up in front of the TV with a cup of tea sounds idyllic

Nice day here as well just back from giving our dog a walk in Culross and another one at Devilla Forrest, she likes the Forrest best she can have a good run about through the trees
