What to do in the Port Of Marseille without taking a tour

Go into town on the shuttle, at the old harbour there is a small toy town train up to a church on the hillside with amazing views. Walk or train back down.Lots of fish restaurants and cafes around the harbour. At the sea end of the harbour near where the shuttles drop you there is a museum, further along the same road some converted warehouses with shops.

Really nice atmosphere we were amazed.

Also lots of taxis offering tours .
