Been to Rome three times now so what to do in Civitavecchia? What is the town like? And where does the shuttle drop you?

Re: Civitavecchia
the shuttle drops at the dock gates.
I wandered round the town a few years ago. It has a pleasant shopping street, cathedral, open market and a museum or 2. Also a beach

Re: Civitavecchia
For the last couple of years, the shuttle drop off point has been a bus station which leaves quite a long walk back to the area where the drop off used to be. As previously stated, there is a nice promenade and plenty of nice coffee shops but the walk to reach them is through less attractive areas but there are plenty of free wifi stops.
