I wonder if officers children can still sail on Adult only ships?

Yes they can - it is in the latest P&O brochure

My recollections of our last Oriana cruise was that the ship was almost dead after 11.00pm.

I know this post is about Aurora but that remark about Oriana made me smile. I'm not 70 until later this year but on our cruise 20/4/18 to 8/5/18 I was ready for bed by 10.30 pm and that was after I had also had a good snooze in the shows in the Theatre Royal. Mind you, we were off the ship by 10 am most port days and stayed out walking as long as possible to see the area. I'm totally shattered after that cruise as it was quite port intensive and they were lovely ports to visit and the weather was hot but it made me realise that I am starting to feel my age.
