Back from my son's - early - travelled yesterday evening rather than this morning after nightmare journey up on Thursday
6 hours up and 4 hours back
I had forgotten just how bad the roadworks on the M5/6 were until I was sat in them and of course the accidents didn't help either - back to the train for me next time.
However the reason for the trip - to see the Terracotta Army exhibition in Liverpool was well worthwhile and of course seeing the family was lovely too.
