It was and it was excellent. A comparison of Princess v P&O coming soon.

The hotel we stayed in the night before, previously a favourite, was a shambles. But that's another story!

I trust you are not going to infer that Princess is far better than P&O, I did that with another cruise line and never heard the end of it from one forum member.

I'm looking forward to Merv review. Personally I've never been enthused about cruising with Princess. Always think of it as cruise line crawling with yanks and kids. The nearest I've come is a ship visit many moons ago, and with my memory I have no idea if I liked it or not.

It's cooled down considerably this week, now almost back to normal UK summer weather, although tomorrow is forecast to be sunnier so may be a hot weekend again.
