Re: Last One to Post Wins
A week or so back we were held up in very heavy traffic, due to an accident on a round-a-bout, on the A35 in very hot n sunny Darzet.
Guess what .. with a temp of 30+++ the warning light came up on the Air-Con so it had to be turned off.
When did you last have a service on your Air-Con ?
Our local garage said the pressure was more than 50% down but soon sorted it all out for a mere £60.
Get yours checked out is my advice …. just saying.

Re: Last One to Post Wins
Had ours recharged last year.
I got mums recharged yesterday. Her car had absolutely no cold air from the air-con. And she travelled all the way down from Lincolnshire like it. All good now do she go home

I remember the good old days before air con. My Dad's old Hillman had flaps you could open at the bottom of the window. And no heater either.

Didn't even have a window winder on my first Mini - just a sliding glass panel and what about the string pull to open the door and no synchromesh on first gear - had to double de-clutch to change down - passed my driving test on it - 1st time too

Re: Last One to Post Wins
Our first car was a Morris minor with semaphore style indicators, and the only air con came via the holes in the floor.

I prefer them on holiday, just popped down to our local supermarket and very little traffic and the place was empty, during term time its frantic with kids everywhere and the car park full of parents dropping off their little darlings to pick up their tuck shop fodder.

All in they're Chelsea chariots which half of them can't drive to save they're lives.

Re: Last One to Post Wins
Went to Frinton yesterday with the good lady. Haven't been there for years. Beautiful sandy beach.
Couldn't believe what the beach huts go for. Silly money of up to and sometimes beyond £30000, for what, an over sized shed. Of course it's the position your paying for, but even so...

There's always some mug with more money than sense that'll buy one Moby.

They are in Christchurch, East of Bournemouth, situated in four locations but the ' scarey ' ones are on Mudeford Spit.
One good wave and there're all matchwood
ps … ours is tucked in under a tree but backing on to a fence for best protection against any storms that may arise

Mine is in our garden 80 miles from the nearest sea. Should be safe there unless this 'ere global warming really gets going.
