I suppose if you have "had enough of experts" he could be your man. I prefer someone who knows what hey are doing.
So come on Jack, you have the inside track. Who would that be? Who would be your choice for PM?

May is like a character in a video game. Get destroyed and you just reboot. After the apocalypse all that will be left is cockroaches and TM. Corbyn had his chance to be a statesman with May's offer to talk but once again blew it. He doesn't look like a PM in waiting. Another day closer to leaving.
Corbyn has, once again, shown his true colours.

Labour declared they wouldn't vote for any deal TM brought to the Commons. That alone as enough to show they have no interest in reaching a Brexit deal. Only in getting their sticky mitts on the Treasury. Which really would make No Deal look like a great deal.

He bunged in his vote of no confidence without even waiting to see what TM's Plan B might be.

He''s been bleating about not being consulted.

Yet when TM tries to consult him he ducks behind pre-conditions.

I understand he may be opposed to No Deal. But the place to debate that was behind closed doors with TM at the same time as telling her what his ideas are to move forward. His party stood at the last election on a manifesto including Brexit. He has give no hint how he's do it.

I would accept remaining if that was the only outcome after every avenue to leave had been explored but i am a Leaver. Make no mistake on that..!!
You have in one sentence, perfectly explained why Leave will ultimately fail.

40% of the electorate are remain. (for simplicity, we already know this is 48)
10% are no deal
10% are May's deal
10% are jobs first
10% are Norway
10% are Canada
10% are what's breakfast?

The Norway people will not side with no deal.
There are loads of people who will not side with May's deal simply because it is May's deal.
You can't get more than two, maybe three of those groups together.
There will be a vote, either in Parliament or the country. Might even be after we leave. But vote we will.

More importantly, you say you would ultimately accept remaining.
I will never accept my rights and freedoms as a European citizen being stolen from me.

If the opposition party are going to ask for a vote of no confidence then after the government has been defeated by the biggest margin in history then when would they do it?

TM is in an impossible position as her party have given her no room to move. Whichever way she moves the other half of her party will cause problems.

Personally I look on with fascination at all the plots and sub plots. Fortunately like most others on this forum the outcome will not have a major effect, whatever happens.

But not for much longer if Brexit goes ahead.
With the loss of Scotland almost guaranteed, you will become just English (I assume, maybe Welsh, Scots...)
Nothing wrong with that, I'm very proud to be English.
Gt. Britain is a geographical term, not political.
For example, should you have been born on Borneo, you are not Bornian (whatever the word might be), you would be Malaysian, Indonesian or Bruneian.

Ok,if we want to be really picky....I’m Mancunian by birth,English by the grace of God....lol.

If the Scots & Welsh want to go their own ways so be it,Let’s see how they cope.Good luck to them.

Over my working life I’ve served my Queen and Country for the best part of 50 yrs and very happily wore the Crown on my shoulder.

Just trying to point out we are all going to lose things we currently take for granted.

So you can be Mancunian and English, but I can't be English and European?

And that’s the point Jack, we take things for granted.! Sometimes things do and have to change, not always for the best I agree.

We can all be what we want, we would still be ‘europeans’ in the sense of it.

Thanks. I know.

Deep down your probably not a bad bloke. 🤣

Keep up the good work guys, maybe one of you will come up with a solution, but the chances of that are worse than Hudds Town's new manager keeping us in the PL.

Of course you can be English, and a European. You were European before the EU, you'll be European after it. Europe is a continent. There were five of them when I went to school, and that was a long, long time before the EU. The EU is an institution, not a place. Juncker hasn't managed to pass a law copyrighting the word European.

You don't have to be in the WI to be a Woman. Or the Boy Scouts to be a boy. Or even, God forbid, in the EDL to be English.

So you can still be European on the 30th March, whatever happens.

Looking very like we will all be European Union citizens on 30th March.

Odds of us leaving 29th still 16%.

"Those present included MPs Heidi Allen, Sarah Wollaston, Anna Soubry, Dominic Grieve, Justine Greening, Phillip Lee and Sam Gyimah".
No surprise there then.

Theresa paid £1 billion of taxpayers money for 10 votes. There's seven votes right there.

While it was the Tory Govt that put forward the Referendum,it was the rest of Parliament that voted to ‘Allow’ it to take place, all parties are guilty.

Don't think you can blame SNP, LibDems, Plaid, Greens, (I stand to be corrected).
I do however agree Corbyn is guilty as sin in this mess.
