discount for past cruisers
Some sites are saying 5% discount for booking early and 5% for past passengers, so does this mean 10% off and do p&o offer it like some of the other cruise sites? Does the 5/10% come off the brochure price?
Have pre- registered and getting a call back tomorrow
Thanks

Re: discount for past cruisers
According to my 2014 / 15 P&O ' mini ' brochure the formula is ...
* 5% for booking early is included in the prices shown
This may only apply to the first edition brochure and thereafter this discount may / will be dropped.
* 5% discount will then be deducted for all existing customers
* 5% will also be deducted for ' Members ' who book the marked ' Peninsular ' Cruises.

This may only apply to the first edition brochure and thereafter this discount may / will be dropped.
* 5% discount will then be deducted for all existing customers
* 5% will also be deducted for ' Members ' who book the marked ' Peninsular ' Cruises.
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

TA margins are only about 5% anyway so any further reductions must come from the cruise company. To qualify for the discount for Peninsular Club cruises you need to have spent at least 16 nights on a previous cruise to qualify as a 'past cruiser'.

Actually 5% off the first 5% so only 9.75%, not 10% I'm afraidEmrobo wrote:Some sites are saying 5% discount for booking early and 5% for past passengers, so does this mean 10% off and do p&o offer it like some of the other cruise sites? Does the 5/10% come off the brochure price?

Why's it only off the first 5% Bob?

Sorry, there are some words missing. 5% of the headline price, then the next 5% is off the reduce price which is 95% of the headline price so effectively the second 5% has been devalued by 5%, if you get my drift. That's the way these reductions normally work.HK phooey wrote:Why's it only off the first 5% Bob?
