Oceana Dubai to Valetta

I see that Oceana, en route from Dubai to the Med, made a brief, unscheduled stop in Jeddah. Someone's cruise cut short? Maybe wanted to make a pilgrimage to Mecca but probably something more serious.

I read on another forum that it was a medical emergency and the person concerned needed immediate surgery. I don't know any more than that.
