Went out this morning with the garden vac to pick up the piles of leaves, and built up quite a sweat, mind you I was wearing a fleece.

Went out this morning with the garden vac to pick up the piles of leaves, and built up quite a sweat, mind you I was wearing a fleece.

I was reading that you shouldn't use leaf blowers/vacs as they kill insects and that's not good for the environment

Using the lawn rake and stiff broom works up a good sweat, plus raising the cut hight, I run the motor mower over the lawn and paths and it does a good job of collecting up the leaves .
