I'm surprised the Thames hasn't reclaimed Maldon. 8-)

You know what riverside dwellers say. In summer the river is at the bottom of the garden. In winter the garden is at the bottom of the river.

Well it must be OK to say that Moby, after all, you are a moderator.
Not a problem that I can see … the sailors of old mostly smoked aromatic rough cut tobacco in their pipes.
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

True, but Stephen is just in range of the fallout should the SS Richard Montgomery blow up. Which could be any time soon, just incase he invites you to dinner, may be worth taking a tin hat

Way out of range for us, although the latest news is it's being raised just enough to be carefully towed and dumped somewhere up North where they currently can't tell where the outside privy starts and the Coronation street cobbled back yard ends. :D

You are about 19 miles from the big bang, the fallout is 20. My advice is to nip to Army navy surplus and buy some tin hats and an air raid shelter. And a hand bell. Don't panic Mr

If you can get the wreck up to the Rochdale - Huddersfield canal via the Humber and then the Calder navigation, and then a further 800ft up into the Pennine foothills, then that would be an achievement and we might have to rename you Hannibal.
