That's what I like to see - a true Yorkshireman. I expect Wina bought it anyway.
I was taught to be cautious

Do you believe the old 'It was a cyber attack excuse', esepcially a 'massive' one, or is it what they keep saying about the IT people responsible for P&O's site .. pure incompetence?Lulucat wrote:I could almost feel sorry for CN, but then again, no I don't. They have been lauding it over there at the downfall of the P&O site - just goes to show, it can happen to anyone, even them

Err no I don't but even if it was a 'massive' cyber attack would you fess up about it given what's happened in the past?Kendhni wrote:Do you believe the old 'It was a cyber attack excuse', esepcially a 'massive' one, or is it what they keep saying about the IT people responsible for P&O's site .. pure incompetence?Lulucat wrote:I could almost feel sorry for CN, but then again, no I don't. Have never tried Crabbies but have you tried this.Manoverboard wrote:To whom it may concern ...
We have been drinking Crabbies alcoholic Ginger Beer since returning from the Oriana Christmas Market's Cruise .... watch out for the Sainsbugs / Tesco deals trhough.
hic
Fill a large glass with ice and place slices of lemon and lime on top
Pour a generous amount if Sailor Jerry's through the ice
Top up with Ginger Beer.
Absolutely "delish"

I see a very much depleted, and a very much 'start again' Crows Nest has reappeared in the last few hours. Looks like everything was lost again - or alternatively perhaps one of the TA's who originally 'contributed' or whatever wanted their site back!!! I guess we'll never know

It's a brand of rum Moby, the only place I have ever found it is in larger Sainsbury stores.Manoverboard wrote:The ' Edit ' option is there for 15 mins and along with a X ( delete ) is adjacent to the ' Quote ' function top right hand side of your post.Dancing Queen wrote:Thanks Ken, I knew there was a time span but I noticed the sp error straight away and no edit was showing, ahh well it was shortly after so probably just a glitch ( or more likely me )

Thanks, following a visit to Sainsbugs I just happen to have a bottle in the fridge along with 6 cans of fiery Jmaican Ginger Beer, what are the best mix ratios do you think ?Dancing Queen wrote:' Sailor Jerry ' is a brand of rum Moby, the only place I have ever found it is in larger Sainsbury stores.

For me .... Tall glass with a treble rum then topped up with ginger beer but maybe start with a double and top up gradually until you get the right taste that you like - don't forget the lemon/lime because it is the citrus that gives it the taste ... Enjoy

I think we ought to despatch a deputation to P&O to persuade them to accept this as the official CC site

Given the poor moderation of the P&O and the way it degenerated over the last few months
I would say it would be a travesty to hand this over to them to ruin
