Re: Last One to Post Wins
In my view, there are some of us who seem to be in great need of training on the safe way to use a chain saw.
Don't worry, be happy

Re: Last One to Post Wins
In my view some of us need to know the full facts.
When tree cutting a bow saw is used as the garden where the tree is situated is at least 200 ft long with the tree fallen at the end of it.
The electric chainsaw is used later at home for cutting cut wood into logs. I know full well how to use one and respect it at all times.
Thank you and good night.

It appears that the two hours I spent in the chair over two appointments pre lockdown having a root canal treatment hasn't been successful. The infection remains. The only alternative now is to remove the tooth and replace it with an implant. So the money I've saved by cancelling holidays is going into the dentist's pocket! That is when he is permitted to do it. Which could be some time away.

Mervyn, look on the positive side, money spent on a holiday and it gone in say two weeks.
Money spent on the implant and you will still be enjoying its Benifits in two years time.

Is that right that an average cost of an implant is nearly £2500Mervyn and Trish wrote: 09 Jun 2020, 12:57Well that was even more painful than expected. Unless the gap after having the tooth removed is obvious I'd forget it.

Yes you're right. The gap would be very obvious and chewing would be seriously impaired without it. Apart from the cost I have no regrets about having the one done on the other side.Stephen wrote: 09 Jun 2020, 16:57Is that right that an average cost of an implant is nearly £2500Mervyn and Trish wrote: 09 Jun 2020, 12:57Well that was even more painful than expected. Best £2000 + I ever spent - people tried to persuade me the gap wasn’t obvious but I hated it and have no regrets whatsoever

Agreed Jan. Well almost. I'd rather spend it on another cruise but that's not an option at the moment . Mind you it will be some time yet before they can do the implant.Jan Rosser wrote: 09 Jun 2020, 20:20Best £2000 + I ever spent - people tried to persuade me the gap wasn’t obvious but I hated it and have no regrets whatsoever![]()

Another call from the dentist. It's coming out next Wednesday. Hopefully he'll have mastered his 2m handle pliers by then.
