We ate in The Glass House on Aurora on a formal evening. I can't remember whether there was an actual notice at the entrance specifying Black Tie but certainly everyone in there was in Formal wear - all men wearing Black Tie.

Always like going for a drink in Andersons on Aurora. Do they still have the big comfy chairs next to the fire place? First time of visiting Andersons years ago, made me think it was more like a Gentlemans club, but with the wife. All the times I have used it, the standard of dress has always been a minimum of very smart.

Same here Merv, but in our photo I am sitting in the leather chair while the good lady stands beside with her hand on my shoulder. A popular spot for the ships photographer. The days of the special wedding anniversary reception and cake.

This sounds like an interesting innovation, the menu is not particularly special, but it looks as though P&O might be offering a special occasion venue in the MDR on Iona, at no extra charge

I was taking a look at the Cruise Personsliser today for our 31st October cruise and noticed for the first time a new Dining Experience on Black Tie nights, The Chefs Table. It's also included in the fare!

This is the description they've given:

I've attached the sample menu which looks great.

Eventually managed to copy the post, seems this will be hosted in the buffet area but presumably segregated from the main part of the buffet.

I would not be able to get Mrs63 into the buffet, no matter what the pretext was, on a casual night so there is no chance on a Black Tie night!

It worked for me using ' Open with ' Firefox

The choices are as I predicted earlier but with a couple of minor, albeit inexpensive, adjustments, typical MPW

Many of the items on the Menu will presumably no longer be available on Formal nights in the MDR which will save P&O a few bob for those who would prefer the MDR to the Buffet. Bar the wine pairings it's a bit of a con as far as I can see.
