Just started to rain here at 0915, just time enough to clear the garden after having Breakfast and watching the cloud approach. Still 23c.
Don't worry, be happy

Was that it? Did not even wet the ground, looks like the garden will still need watering tonight.

Re: Last One to Post Wins
Agreed but we were having one’s ( non negotiable ) Sunday dinner albeit on a Friday but it could have been on Wednesday. It all depends on the dates of the veges as delivered by Sainsbugs on the Tuesday. We have salad / light dishes for five days a week but proper comfort food on the other two days ... again determined by freezer stocks plus dates and availability of one’s weekly delivery. Milk, bread and veges plus other basics are possible, but not guaranteed, from a local-ish Farm Shop but us carrot crunchers have to eat what we’ve got when we can get it unlike you City Slickers with wall to wall easy reach Supermarkets.
How does everybody else manage their evening meals I wonder ?

Mrs S just says what do you fancy tonight. A bit of a leading question
I reply what have we got. We then run through the options and come to a decision. This can often change last minute though.

That's one difference .. we planned tonight's meal three weeks ago even though it's only an omeletteStephen wrote: 27 Jun 2020, 08:09Mrs S just says what do you fancy tonight. A bit of a leading question![]()

It's a very very nice omelette but we had to wait until Sainsbugs were able to deliver the ' live growing ' chives and ones smoked Salmon of choice when it was on offer.

Re: Last One to Post Wins
I assume eggs aren't a problem getting hold of. I know someone who can supply if they are!
You might need your credit card though.
