we were going out to dinner - all 5 of us...
then it was pruned to "out to dinner for the 3 of us who live together"
now it is "a takeaway from the restaurant we were intending to visit originally"!
Never mind - we'll make the most of it

I know the feeling. We had a table booked a while back for this Friday for four at our local Chinese (birthday celebration!). Now it's a takeaway for two
