Much milder today most of the frost/ice has melted, have been on two dog walks with my husband as his golf was cancelled due to frost/ice on the course

I seem to be suddenly getting a lot more posts on a page than before. Takes longer to scroll down to the latest ones.

Is it me?

I don't think I've changed anything in my settings (other than playing about today to try to change it back) but if I have I can't see what or how to fix it.

I auto scroll to the first unread post else I click on the down arrow for a rapid transit

No I couldn't. I was sure there was somewhere before. I reckon fixing Stephen's error has buggered it for everyone else!
