The major problem for inexperienced stargazers, is that you tend to trip over hazards on the ground as you stare upwards.Onelife wrote: 19 Feb 2021, 09:25You are either trying to create dialogue on the subject or you have failed to understand/appreciate the great advancements that space exploration has given the world… in my opinion.Manoverboard wrote: 19 Feb 2021, 08:54A complete waste of money in my opinionOnelife wrote: 18 Feb 2021, 21:02Congratulations NASA....One small step for mankind, one giant leap for our future existence.![]()

You've all been fooled.
The US didn't land on the moon in the 60s. They've not landed on Mars in 2021. It's all faked in the desert outside Hollywood.
The earth is flat, the holocaust didn't happen, Covid doesn't exist, and the vaccines have cameras and microphones implanted in them to see what you're doing when you should be at home.

Re: Current Affairs
Crafty little swipe at Sky this morning when Matt Hancock was being questioned by Sophy Ridge over lockdown measures. He was asked: 'You want to vaccinate or offer a jab to everyone by the end of July, but you can't even tell us whether we'll be able to go on holiday in the summer? That does seem, to some people, a little bit ridiculous.'
He replied, 'Well, I know that everybody at Sky News is keen to be able to get back to having parties, and all of us, understandably, want to get back to normal.'
Ouch!!!!

Re: Current Affairs
I agree screwy. Sophie is one of the better ones. Pity Matt wasn't being interviewed by Niall Paterson who is too full of his own importance. I get the distinct impression some of our politicians are getting a bit weary of some of the endlessly pointless questions being put their way.

Re: Current Affairs
Wait until tomorrow - "Can you tell us when the lockdown will finally end?", "When can we go on holiday?", "When will the pubs be open?", "Will we be able to have a proper Christmas this year?" etc.

I agree with you all about useless pointless questions from journalists both in the papers and TV.
But given the opportunity what question would you ask.

Well I certainly wouldn't be asking the same puerile questions all the time, presumably in the hope of catching the politicians out.Bensham33 wrote: 21 Feb 2021, 13:53I agree with you all about useless pointless questions from journalists both in the papers and TV.

It may help if they asked questions about what is happening now rather than what may happen in the future.

So Prince Charles travelled two hundred miles to visit his father. Some Twitter bods are up in arms over it calling it double standards. I can see both sides of the argument. What do others think.
