Nice day up here and a bit warmer. The sun is out, a few clouds in the sky but it's a nice day. It still goes cold at night though. I reseeded a patch of lawn but it's not germinated yer. I also had to cut out some dead wood from the clematis. I think the late frosts must have done for it.

Ray are you anywhere near Cromer? I've had some excellent holidays in Cromer.

Bensham, a nice part of the coast to take a holiday, Cromer, I am at Sea Palling, 20 miles eastward.
Good for holidaymakers, a lovely but so different part of the country, quiet in parts but plenty of life if you want it in Norfolk and Suffolk.

Dressed one for lunch (we have posh crabs here ) took me 15 minutes, fresh from the sea, lovely.

Had the same with mussels, use to eat loads then one time became the same, kept trying every time we had some but it was no good, much to the pleasure of Lady B who eats the lot.
After a few years I started to try a small piece of mussel and after a period of time eating bigger and bigger pieces I am now back in full flow, to the now displeasure of Lady B.

Similar pattern for me. Used to eat them fine. Then one time I was very unwell. Tried again with similar result. But later with tiny amounts okay, but don't risk it now. I liked them but not that much. I suspect I had a bad one that upset and sensitised me. The only frustration is I now avoid seafood dishes that might have a few.
