Now,now John. You know it’s personality not money that counts.towny44 wrote: 27 Jun 2021, 10:26I thought her husband was a millionaire, I predict she will regret that choice very quickly.Manoverboard wrote: 27 Jun 2021, 09:14Is that so, ah, I don't follow tittle tattle so had no real idea of the finer points.

Thank you Gill for your ideas. Now we'll see what Javid's are.
Meanwhile Labour already has the knife in before he's even started.
"He was a Treasury minister, he was... an architect of the austerity that has afflicted the NHS these last 10 years which has weakened it."
Of course they've forgotten who was in power and emptied the piggy bank making that austerity necessary.

Re: Current Affairs
It will be interesting to see how Carrie's good friend does in the job.
Johnson made yet another poor judgement by not firing Hancock immediately - as soon as the story broke it was obvious that Hancocks position was untenable (as Gill said right at the beginning) - when it was Ferguson in the firing line Hancock thought the police should have become involved, sdo I trust he will be handing himself in ..., however given the nepotism of this government I doubt if anything will be done.

More interesting will be, how the video footage was obtained from what is supposed to be a secure building.

Interesting you should say that.
#10690 "tongue down her throat"
#10715 "adultery"
#10748 "He was doing it in work time"
How do you know all this? Is it fact or is somebody getting over excited?

The photo gave an indication but the angle was wrong for it to be conclusive ... I would say.

I’ve read that the camera was installed inside a smoke alarm.
Who put it there?
Maybe it was Thames House?
Wouldn’t surprise me.

Re: Current Affairs
Dismissed by the Sun as a concerned whistleblower. Nonetheless worries me that an individual, or a State, takes on the responsibility for the removal of a Government Minister. Assault on democracy.

I wonder how much money The Sun had to donate before the 'whistle blower' became 'concerned'

Re: Current Affairs
Bit like the Documents found at a Bus stop in Kent. If the finder was so concerned why give them to the Beeb and not to the Police.?

Tbh I would find it easier to hand it in to the police than the BBC but on the other hand it wouldn't cause such a stir.

I wonder if they showed any concern for the families who were innocent in this matter and the impact it would have on them. Perhaps the money would help to salve their consciences.Kendhni wrote: 27 Jun 2021, 13:08I wonder how much money The Sun had to donate before the 'whistle blower' became 'concerned'

Re: Current Affairs
Others would say he was very silly to put himself in that position but that his removal was orchestrated directly by the leaker and the editor of the Sun.
