Reverting back to my patio issue.
We have gone with Porcelain, Beige. Only slightly dearer than natural stone but virtually maintenance free, also getting rid of the turf and putting down artificial grass again easier to maintain. Swap you a lawn mower for a stiff brush.!
Now if Foxy could send his Irish mates to do the job.

Don’t believe a word he says Mel. When he says ‘land owner’ he means he’s got a part share in a allotment

This isn't Boris bashing, its just a statement of fact.
Even Johnson's ardent supporters must acknowledge the this statement is ridiculous.

I don't see what the issue is ... Arguably he is crassly incompetent in not understanding the rules he put in place, however I don't think that is the case here. Given his integrity and known ability to tell the truth, then if Johnson says '"Nobody warned me drinks event was against rules" then in all likelihood many people had warned him it was against the rules.Stephen wrote: 18 Jan 2022, 16:03If Boris can’t get it right or know the rules then there’s no hope

Before Boris had made this statement…"Nobody warned me that it was against the rules," He should remember who pushed him into saying it because I wouldn’t be surprised if Dom produces a text message or similar which leads to Boris having dug his own grave.

I don't think we should be bashing Bojo like we are. After all, Boris along with Trump (remember him) have both given us lots to talk about, unlike Biden who has given us nothing. It would be boring if we had someone like him.
Don't worry, be happy

It is worth looking for boards based in other countries since they give you a much deeper insight into their politics and the personalities compared to what gets printed in our media. Earlier this evening I was reading some very interesting/lively discussion about the difference in how Scott Morrison and Jucinda Adern are handling their respective countries, there is also plenty being discussed about Biden on an American board I frequent.Ray B wrote: 18 Jan 2022, 19:51I don't think we should be bashing Bojo like we are. I notice Sunak refused to answer the question on whether or not Johnson has his support.Onelife wrote: 18 Jan 2022, 19:50Before Boris had made this statement…"Nobody warned me that it was against the rules," He should remember who pushed him into saying it because I wouldn’t be surprised if Dom produces a text message or similar which leads to Boris having dug his own grave.
The majority of conservatives no longer believe Johnson (the coffee has brewed).
The backbenchers are dictating the agenda.
It is getting to the point where Johnson will not be able to salvage any dignity even by going.
While I think that Cummings and Johnson are two of the most mendacious characters ever in British politics, I also think that Cummings knows too much and probably has the evidence to back it up.

Re: Current Affairs
I do think that Boris's choice of chief advisor was extremely poor, he may have had the warped mind to spin the policies that helped Boris to achieve a leave vote, and then engineer his large majority in 2019, but a less articulate and pleasant character in politics I have yet to come across.Kendhni wrote: 18 Jan 2022, 21:35I notice Sunak refused to answer the question on whether or not Johnson has his support.Onelife wrote: 18 Jan 2022, 19:50Before Boris had made this statement…"Nobody warned me that it was against the rules," He should remember who pushed him into saying it because I wouldn’t be surprised if Dom produces a text message or similar which leads to Boris having dug his own grave.
